Stadium Fest 2009

After our long morning at the March of Dimes, Coop and I went to his Aunt Ally's for naptime. Then we headed to Sanford for the Stadium Fest with Miranda. We heard some songs from Jeremy Camp. But only stayed about 1 1/2. Coop and I were both worn out. Thank you Lord for a wonderful day!!

Marching for Babies

It was such a beautiful day to celebrate babies. This was my second year to walk with team "Olivia's Butterflies". I plan to continue to walk every year to support this cause.

What a Wonderful Weekend!

The best part of my weekend was Sunday morning at 9:30! On January 18, 2009 I decided that I wanted to publicly confess that JESUS WAS MY LORD AND SAVIOR. This past year has been tough for me and GOD has been by my side the whole time. I know without him I would not been able to get through the problems. In May of 2008, my husband and I separated. And now we will soon be divorced. It was never what I wanted for my marriage. But it is what happened and Now I am having to deal with it and move on with my life. I truly believe that GOD is GOOD no matter what situations you are faced with. GOD uses all situations to teach you about life. I know that I am a stronger person now and that " I CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST". So, on April 19, 2009, I was baptised at Westwood Baptist Church. The same church that Cooper was dedicated at in 2007. Westwood is such an awesome church and I am so glad that I am apart of it. My wonderful family and friends were there to support me. I had so many wonderful messages sent my way by friends and family that couldn't attend the service. I am so blessed!! I know in my heart that GOD is going to take care of Cooper and I. And that he is going to do GREAT things in my life! GOD IS GOOD!!

My wonderful friend Miranda was there to support me. Along with Amanda Reid, Jenn and Gavin. I feel so blessed to have such great friends!

The best moment of my life!

On Saturday, we went to a Farm Animal birthday party for our sweet neighbor Casen who was turning 3. Cooper rode a horse, "pony", for the first time. He was such a brave little boy!

Easter 2009

What the Easter Bunny left Cooper

Today was a beautiful Easter. I couldnt have asked for better weather. Church was amazing. And spending time with my family was so much fun. Lots of good food, catching up, hiding eggs, and laughing. When C woke up, the Easter bunny had been to our house. He ate all the carrots that we left out. And filled C's basket with lots of goodies. C really loved the Batman umbrella. Coop and I went to church at Westwood. And then headed to Aunt Angie and Uncle Don's house for lunch. We had our family tradition, lasagna. Plus lots of yummy sides. After lunch the kids did an Easter egg hunt. To end our night, Coop and I watched "BOLT" the movie that Papaw and Nonna gave C for Easter.

Yesterday, we had lunch with my dad and kim. Coop had his own personal Easter egg hunt and ate LOTS of chocolate.

Thank you Jesus for such an awesome day! Christ has risen!!

Big Bugs, Ducks, Fish, Dying eggs, and Bunny Cake

This weekend was the best weekend I have had in a LONG TIME. Coop and I took off of school and work Friday and headed to Huntsville to see Grammy Bobbie and Grandaddy Larry. We arrived around 12:ish. Coop did great on the ride there! The drive was quick and easy, which was music to my ears! When we got there Grammy B was ready to entertain. She had all of her Easter decorations up for Cooper to enjoy. First thing Coop did was go up to "his" playroom and started playing with firetrucks. This was the first time Grammy B had heard Coop's fire engine. And boy was it loud :). It was so wonderful being welcomed into their house with open arms. It felt like home. On our beds were Easter baskets full of goodies. Grammy made Coop a bug hat and got him a bug outfit to wear to the Botanical Gardens on Saturday. For lunch Grammy took us to Rosies. Her favorite Mexican restaurant. Coop's favorite part was the big balloon that he got. Once we got home, Aunt Ally and Grandaddy were there waiting. Coop was thrilled to see everyone. We hunted Easter eggs, grilled out, and played outside. Coop really enjoyed helping Gr-daddy do yard work. He was such a great helper! This is the best age!! On Saturday, we went to Botanical Gardens to see the BIG BUGS. The whole time we were talking about going, I thought we were going to see Live Bugs. But thank goodness they were not real. They were huge! It was pretty cool. Once we got back to the house and ate lunch, it was time for Aunt Ally to head back to Bham and for Coop to head for the bed. After nap, we were rocking and rolling again. We went to the park to feed ducks and fish. This was so fun for Cooper. I think C ate more bread than the animals. It was such a beautiful and fun day! That night we chilled out at the house. C dyed eggs for the first time. And for dessert both nights, Coop was treated was chocolate bunny cake! Yummy! On Sunday, we ate breakfast outside and C did more yard work. Cooper was very sad to leave and cried all the way down the street. But was out like a light once we hit the interstate. And as you can imagine between Bobbie, Larry, and I, we took over 1,000 pictures. We had lots of moments that were made into wonderful memories! Thanks for such a wonderful and much needed vacation! I can't wait to go back!!

I will be posting pictures as soon as I can.

Cheeseburgers Cheeseburgers

Lately my son has been OBSESSED with cheeseburgers. He asked for them just about everyday. He won't just eat any cheeseburger. It has to be from...you guessed it, MCDONALDS!! After church Sunday, he said " Momma I want cheeseburger". So, I drove through the drive-thru at Jim-N-Nicks for a REAL cheeseburger. He was not happy with my selection. He ate about 2 bites and was done. Seriously!! So yesterday, I had to take C for his check-up on his ashma. And come to find out he has an ear infection!! The doctor told me not to panic and wait until the season was over and we'll go from there. The ENT told me that as of now C should not have to have tubes. That was before the ear infection he has now. So, anyways where was I. Oh, Cheeseburgers! After the doctor yesterday, C wanted a cheeseburger. I went thru the drive-thru at the bank and he was mad that they didn't have cheeseburgers. So, I went to Burger King because it was the closest place. And Cooper was very unsatisfied with my choice. He hated the seeds on the bun! So needless to say, Coop loves Mickey D's...as his Papaw would so. Only the best for my child.
