RoRo's wedding

I was the ring bearer at my grandmother's wedding at the beach. I really did look quite handsome!

Trip to the zoo

These are a few pictures of when my mama took me to the zoo. My cousins Sam and Elena, and my Aunt Lea joined us for a fun day in the sun. There were so many animals and fun things to look at. Most of all, I loved the water park at the end of the day. It was cool and refreshing. At first, I was a little scared of the water shooting up out of the ground. But after I saw my little cousin Elena loving it, I had to join in on the fun. Hope you enjoy my pictures!

Love Birds

On July 4, we took the kids to the church for fireworks. Here are a few pictures of Cooper and his classmate/neighbor Kinley. They seemed to really hit it off. Looks like the girls will be knocking down the door for Cooper.

For 2 nights in a row, Cooper has pee-peed in the potty!!!! I am such a proud mommy.
And he was proud of himself too!

Another milestone for Cooper-
For the longest time now, he will go around, point at everyone, and say their name. But the other day, he pointed to himself and said " Coop". Sometimes he leaves the "p" off and he says "Coo". But it is the sweetest thing to hear him say his own name. He is growing up too fast. Before we know it, he will be in 1st grade, getting his first car (my honda (:! ), and having his first girlfriend!

Being a mother is so wonderful and I thank God everyday for my greatest accomplishment, Cooper!!

I'm a big boy now!

Here's the story:
We were walking back to his room, so I could change his diaper. As we were coming close to the bathroom, I asked him if he wanted to sit on his potty. He shook his head yes. So, I sat him on the potty for a few minutes. I asked him if he was finished, he shook his head yes. See this has happened several times before and nothing was in the potty. But this time when he stood up, there was pee-pee in the potty. Of course, as any pround parent would do, I danced and sang the potty song. So, yay for Cooper! And yay that dipaers days are coming closer to an end!!!!

News Flash!

I am not sure why I am sooo excited, but Cooper almost ate a WHOLE BANANA this morning on the way to Papaw and Nonna's house. As a baby, he loved banana orange medoly baby food. And on Thanksgiving weekend, he ate bananas. I, along with Papaw and Nonna, have been trying to get him to eat bananas since last Thanksgiving/Fist birthday and had NO LUCK. I mean all kids like bananas. What was wrong with mine?
Hopefully I am not jumping the gun on this subject. He loves to mess with us, so he will probably never eat a banana again just because I want him to.

New favorite phrase?

For a month or so, Cooper has been trying to get the words out...Want a sugar? My mom, Nonna, noticed it at their house one day. Everytime he would get in his play car, he would lean over and say, " Want a sugar?". So, my mom solved the mystery.
Now he says it all of the time. It is so darn cute!

Last week we were in Publix and he was saying it to a guy stocking the shelves. The Publix worker just smilied at Cooper. But, that was not enough for Coop. He just kept getting louder and more determined. Finally I had to just move to another asile.

Labor Day weekend 08

Cooper and I had so much fun together this long holiday weekend! The highlight of the weekend was THE ZOO. On Saturday morning, we went to the zoo with Lea, Elena, Sam, and his friend, Daniel. It was great spending time with family. I know Cooper loved hanging out with Elena and Sam. I think Cooper liked the water park better than the animals. But, he did like the gorilla and giraffes too. At the end of the zoo, they have a new water area. The water shoots up out of the ground and there is a foam soap area too. At first, Cooper was apprehensive about getting in the water. But after about 10 minutes, I couldn't have bribed him with cookies to get out. As soon as I was driving out of the parking lot, Cooper was asleep. He napped until 5:30! That night we went football party hopping. First we went to Sarah and Rich's and on the way home we stopped by Jon and Missy's. On Sunday, we went to church and my dad and kim came over for dinner. Very relaxing and Much enjoyed!!
